Sandy McGee's Restaurant
It all started in 1986 from a little house in Rosenberg. Sandy began serving her legendary "Ann's Plate" with creamy chicken salad, fruit salad, and soon-to-be-famous broccoli cheese soup to a few local residents. Word about Sandy's emphasis on freshness and presentation spread. Crowds of customers in the little house resulted in Sandy McGee's relocating to a larger facility.
The restaurant is located on the corner of 4th and Morton in downtown Richmond in a 100-year-old building that was formerly the Post Office Pharmacy. Lunch time is an especially busy period, with people placing their orders for burgers, malts, soup, salad and sandwiches from our diverse Restaurant Menu. Desserts are made on-site daily -- See To-Go and Dessert Menu.
The restaurant also offer several venues to hold special events such as bridal showers, birthdays and graduation luncheons. The "Gallery" can be reserved for groups of 15 to 25. The recently remodeled "Library" offers a warm setting for groups of 25 to 40. Larger groups can reserve both rooms or the entire restaurant, accommodating groups as large as 60 to 80.
