April 17 - "Sandy's Cooking" on the first Thursday of every month. Sandy prepares a special meal that is available as an alternative to the regular menu. The next date will be May 5 (hmmm, that's Cinco de Mayo). "Sandy's Cooking" in April just featured a Mexican menu (see April 7). Sandy hasn't yet decided what she will prepare next month, but we will post it here and on Facebook as soon as the menu is set.

April 15 - Today marks a special day for Sandy. It was 25 years ago today that she opened her small Rosenberg restaurant. We can't imagine how much chicken salad, fruit salad and broccoli cheese soup have been served since that opening day, and they remain the most popular items on the menu.

April 7 - Today's "Sandy's Cooking" featured a trio of tacos, brie-pecan quesadillas, and made-at-your-table guacamole. The guacamole was such a hit that it will be on the menu as an appetizer from now on.
